About Me
Hey there! My name's Margaruine, but you can call me "Marge" for short. ("Marga" is fine as well.) I'm a very artsy person and I love to share my little creations on the web. In fact, I actually spend most of my free time hanging out in the internet.
My personal hobbies
As you may have guessed from the title of this website, I love all things music. I enjoy making music, playing music, and listening to music.
I've been playing the piano since I was in elementary. I'm not particularly great at it, but it's certainly the experience that matters, right?
As for my interest in making music, I picked it up a few years back during a particularly slow day. I use OnlineSequencer and Beepbox to compose music, though I have been considering Musescore as well to simplify things. Interestingly enough, all three of these are freeware. I've definitely still got room to improve in my composition skills, especially with mixing and production (which is what adds some extra oomph to regular music). Making this website and sharing my music out to the world has been great for encouraging myself to keep going.
Some extra facts about me
I come from Macau, a tiny outpost in China akin to its much more well known neighbour Hong Kong. Macau is a pitifully small city, and is no bigger than an airport in a megacity. Living here has been a very interesting experience - you can practically get anywhere on foot if you have enough time. It's also the host to a unique blend of Chinese-Portuguese history.
I play Kerbal Space Program. So far, I've got my kerbals stranded twice, landed on Duna (the game's equivalent of Mars), and spent 22 years in rescue time. If you plan to buy this game, please remember to make quicksaves before you do anything drastic... (Also, don't buy KSP2, it's ridiculously priced abandonware.)
I have a cat. She's pretty clingy and constantly begs for attention. Nevertheless, she's the cutest thing on this rock we call Earth.
I learnt most of my music theory knowledge from private music classes. For some inexplicable reason, I feel extremely guilty about this, like I've somehow betrayed the high spirits of music themselves.
Games that I Love
Outer Wilds
One of the greatest exploration/puzzle games of all time in my opinion. The soundtrack, narrative and gameplay loop are incredible - one could even say they're "stellar". Don't spoil yourself before playing the game!
Celeste

One day, Maddy (the game's creator) took a gander at her PICO-8 platformer, and thought "How could I shape this up into one of the most challenging yet fun 2D platformers of all time?" The result was an absolute masterpiece, with fun mechanics, a wonderful story about self-reflection, and an exquisite soundtrack - not to mention the tons of content from the community!
Undertale / Deltarune

Toby Fox made the best RPG game by far in 2015, and revealed that this was only step one of his masterful operation. He then made Deltarune, a game that's currently TWICE as long and a masterclass in practically everything. What a legendary team.
Block Tales (On roblox)
A wonderful turn-based RPG inspired by the olden days of Roblox. Plenty of spell cards to decorate your loadout with, as well as a surplus of memorable characters and locales.
Some other games on Roblox that I would reccommend are:
- Combat Initiation - Fun turn-based roguelike similar to Ultrakill
- Nullscape - Roguelike similar to Dark Deception with parkour mechanics
- late july, midsummer - Dream exploration game based on Yume-nikki and other dream games on the site
- Project RUSHER - Fun rhythm game with craaaazzzy visual
