Post-Scratch
Making this website marked a huge shift in my life and myself. So how did I even find Neocities?
Preface
It was a mundane night, and I was watching YouTube like any other. I stumbled upon a video made by Magoonka, creator of chicagosoftcore.net. This vid informed me about the joyful wonderland of Neocities, a place of true self expression and creativity, as well as teaching me the basics of HTML. Coincidentally, my school was also teaching HTML and CSS at the time. So, with some beginner-level knowledge of web development, I decided to give making a website a shot.
The reason why my website is called The Margaruine Music Zone is because I only planned for it to showcase my music and nothing else. However, I saw other websites which shared their music (like kelzone and chaoticbon, go check 'em out), and they feature tons of other stuff as well! So I added an about section and a section for updates as well.
Things were going well and I was slowly building up my website. However, I was still incredibly unfamilliar with many of the norms of Neocities.
